The Warrens investigated a case on West Pittston, Pennsylvania where Jack and Janet Smurl were the victims of demonic possession. Janet was the first to experience supernatural occurrences in the duplex house. What first started out as voices turned into physical altercations with demons. Electrical fixtures fell from the ceiling, Janet was dragged out of bed, and the family levitated while in bed.
